Application International Students

ILEPS has student exchange agreements with different universities from all over Europe.

Students from partner universities have the opportunity to study at ILEPS for one semester without paying any tuition fee to us – students will continue to pay the fee to their home university. Students who wish to apply for the Erasmus+ exchange program should at first contact their home university Erasmus coordinator to check whether a bilateral agreement with ILEPS has been concluded.

  • A nomination is not a confirmed place on a specific programme
  • Seats are allocated once students have submitted the online application and ILEPS has reviewed the documents
  • It is possible to mix and match courses from different exchange programmes

Once you have been nominated by your home university, your nomination will be checked and confirmed to your home university. Once approved, you will receive a and the application instructions by email once the application period has opened. Make sure you do not miss our application deadline!

Language requirement

Exchange students are not required to submit proof of their English proficiency, but are expected to be able to follow lessons, study and make exams in English. Partner institutions are expected to select students who have a good standard of English (minimum of B2 CEFR).

Application documents

Please note: we only accept scanned documents in PDF.

During the online application, you will need to upload the following documents:

  • Transcript of Records: your most recent grade list in English. Passport (EU/EER students can also upload the front and back of their ID card. Make sure the document is valid throughout the period of your exchange.
  • Learning Agreement: The Learning Agreement needs to be signed by you and your home university. You can find the courses by clicking on your chosen exchange[RI2]  programme. You can use the Learning Agreement of your home university or use this Learning Agreement[RI3] .

When you have submitted a complete and correct application, we aim to send your letter of acceptance and further information about your exchange in Cergy within 3 weeks.

Students can look for housing themselves, but the international office is here to help you and ILEPS can offer you a room in one of our students houses.  As the housing situation can be challenging in Cergy (especially when you start in September), we advise you to start looking for a room as soon as possible.

Step 4: Visa

Students with a non-European nationality need a visa to study in France. The international relation office can help you once you have received your acceptance letter.
